1 Answer. Upgrading a Pyromancy Glove increases the MagAdjust of the glove, which in turn increases the damage of most direct attack pyromancies. In most cases, it has no effect on status buff pyromancies such as Power Within or Flash Sweat.
Power Within actually suffered from upgraded flames as the damage output and stamina regeneration did not increase with upgrading, but the damage suffered by the player did. The Ascended Pyromancy Flame actually maintains the name "Pyromancy Flame" in the games menus and can be deceiving to the player.
It takes 340,500 souls to fully upgrade all 21 levels of the Pyromancy Flame.
Fire upgrade from +5 to +6 requires 1 Red Titanite Chunk and a Large Flame Ember. Fire upgrade from +6 to +7 requires 1 Red Titanite Chunk. Fire upgrade from +7 to +8 requires 2 Red Titanite Chunks. Fire upgrade from +8 to +9 requires 3 Red Titanite Chunks.
Only a maximum of two Pyromancy Flames can be acquired per playthrough as Laurentius won't give the player his flame if their starting class is Pyromancer. This applies whether or not they picked up the Pyromancy Flame at the Undead Asylum. The second one is usually from Eingyi.
Flame can only be ascended at +15 not +10.
Pyromancy damage doesn't scale with any stat, however it does benefit from the casting speed increase of dexterity. At the casting speed cap of45 dexterity your casting speed will be roughly 15% faster (spell dependant) this means it synergizes well with high dexterity builds.
Even a base Fire Zweihander will terrorize enemies and bosses in early-game, and will deal severe punishment in late-game when fully upgraded. It is a good choice for NG+ as well, especially if you favor heavy weapons, have high endurance, or want to switch from a pure STR build after meeting its requirements.

There are two levels of upgrades for the flame, the standard Pyromancy Flame and the ascended flame. The first one can be upgraded a total of 15 times by Laurentius, Quelana, or Eingyi. After this, players must travel to Blighttown to ascend and further upgrade the flame with Quelana.
The Pyromancy Flame is the only weapon that has no weight when wielded. Fully upgrading the flame, including ascension, costs a total of 340,500 Souls. This is equivalent to 55 Soul Levels (up from Level 1).
1 Answer. There's no difference. split() ignores whitespace on the ends of the input by default. People call strip() first either because they think it's clearer or because they don't know this behavior of split() .
At this time it's not possible to split cells in a table in Docs unless the cells were previously merged. To merge cells, drag your cursor through the cells you want to combine, right-click, and select "merge cells."
