Pinocchio calls her his godmother. In 1976's West German-Austrian-Japanese animated series Pinocchio, the role of Fairy is the same like in the book although she does not physically age and stays as a young woman. Blue may act authoritarian at times, but she is definitely not cruel or selfish. She made some hard choices and she often chose wrong but that doesn't make her evil. The evil that Rumple, Malcolm, Fiona, Regina etc, did is on them.
